Tas Cru & His Band of Tortured Souls (Blues) After years of performing, Tas Cru found this special place in 2014 with "You Keep The Money,” which ended the year at #3 between Buddy Guy & Shemeka Copeland. It was followed by 2016's Blues Music Award Nominated "Simmered & Stewed" and continues with 2018's critically acclaimed "Memphis Song.” Tas Cru is based out of upstate New York and performs in multiple formats ranging from solo acoustic to a seven-piece band. He sings and plays a wide variety of guitars - at home on either electric, acoustic, resonator or cigar box. Cru has received wide praise for his songwriting. As Downbeat magazine noted, "His songs are blues poetry - crafted with rare verbal flair and his ability to cast a memorable hook is magical!" Live, these songs are performed with power and passion, as observed by Living Blues magazine, "The vivacity and sheer joy with which Cru plays is intoxicating!” You will have to see this show to believe it, on the West Palm Beach waterfront at Currie Park.
