Rare and extensive memorabilia of famous Jewish women and men Olympic athletes by collector Neil Keller, along with private tours, films, author appearances and special guests.
Mr. Keller will showcase over 100 pieces gathered over a 35 year span. By tracking down family members and other individuals on a worldwide chase for items and information on these remarkable young athletes, Mr. Keller was able to amass this very touching and impressive collection.
World champion Victor Young Perez; well-known boxer Kid Francis; Marty Glickman, fastest kid on the block; Helene Mayer, named by Sports Illustrated as one of the top 100 female athletes of the 20th Century, and Eva Szekely, inducted into the Fort Lauderdale Swimming Hall of Fame. These and many more athletes will be featured in the exhibition.
