Wine lovers, this one is for you. Vinya Table is open in Coral Gables.
It’s the sister restaurant of Key Biscayne-based Vinya — and will be helmed by Executive Chef Mariano Araya, who is inspired by Latin flavors, European travels and local Florida produce.
What’s on the menu? Dishes like Pernod Mussels, Manchego & Truffle Risotto and a 42-ounce Tomahawk. Desserts include Piña Colada Pavlova, Guava Flan and Tres Leches Carrot Cake.
Libations are definitely a highlight at the 152-seat restaurant which offers an extensive by-the-glass wine program (think exclusive servings of rare and collectible wines such as Burgundy, Bordeaux and Library Napa).
The 3,200-square-foot eatery has a 14-seat wooden pergola bar and a private dining room as well as a to-go market with“40 Wines Under $40” along with a “Bar Cart Essentials” section.
The brand is created by CEO Nicholas Garcia and sommelier Allegra Angelo. “Whether you’re a wine newbie or a seasoned collector, it’s an exciting time to be a wine drinker in Miami. I can’t wait to share our enthusiasm for wine and spirits through top-notch education and innovative experiences. We create crave-able moments, meant for sharing,” Angelo notes in a press release.
Vinya Table is located at 266 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables. For more information, visit vinyawine.com/vinyatable.
