If you love sushi, you’re going to love that Taki Omakase is now in Boca Raton and downtown Delray Beach.
“Omakase” translates to “I will leave it up to you” and that’s just what the restaurant’s concept is all about. Chefs Hiro Jiang and Masa Zheng promise an omakase experience unlike any other.
Each 18-course meal is different with offerings of a variety of sushi, nigiri, fresh tuna, cuttlefish, salmon, sea bass and Wagyu beef and more. The experience is intimate with 12 people at the counter. The dishes, which are prepared in front of guests, are paired with Japanese sake, beer and continental wine. If there is something you don’t like or are allergic to, advise the chef ahead of time.
“Our goal was to create an unrivaled omakase experience that introduces Japanese traditions with modern culinary influences at a level above anywhere else. Our chefs originated from some of the most notable restaurants of New York City and Japan and are dedicated to their craft,” says David Bouhadana, co-founder of Taki Omakase (Boca Raton & Delray Beach).
All the fish, meat and ingredients are sourced from markets in Japan and arrive fresh daily within 24 hours.
Taki Omakase is located at 1658 N. Federal Hwy., Boca Raton and 632 E. Atlantic Ave. Delray Beach. For more information, visit takiomakase.com.
