Avra Miami has arrived.
And it brings with it the cuisine and ambiance of Greece — complete with oceanfront views.
The new Miami eatery, part of the Avra Estiatorio brand, is the fifth in the company’s portfolio.
“Avra isn’t just a place to dine — it’s a destination that transports diners to the whitewashed islands of Greece with its setting and cuisine where incomparably fresh seafood, vegetables and hand-pressed extra-virgin olive oil are the stars,” notes a press release. “Picking your seafood from the ice display that features in-season catch is a signature part of the Avra experience as is deciding how to enjoy it: have it grilled whole over charcoal, deboned and finished with Avra’s signature ladolemono sauce or baked in salt. Or try it raw as a carpaccio or in a ceviche.”
The menu also features zucchini and eggplant chips, Chilean Seabass Souvlaki, ceviche with chickpeas, seasonal fruit in a leche de tigre sauce, Dover sole meuniere with Ossetra caviar — and more. And that olive oil that enhances nearly every dish? It’s hand-pressed at a farm in Greece.
Let’s not forget about the libations: there are more than 1,200 varieties of wine as well as hundreds of options of spirits. Cocktails include Greek themed choices such as Cyprus Serpent with Maestro Doble Diamante, Combier Orange and Agave Lime.
