Miami Beach has one gorgeous skyline. And now there’s a way to view it from a rooftop and sunset lounge.
Enter The Nest, on Lincoln Road. The new 3,320-square-foot venue is designed to be different from the moment that guests access it via a secret elevator inside The Lincoln Eatery food hall.
The venue – open on Friday and Saturday nights starting at 5 p.m. – serves up cocktail combos with a twist, including Bird in the Hand, featuring reposado tequila, Chinola passion fruit liqueur, Q Grapefruit Soda and fresh lime, and the Nest Gin and Tonic, with Bombay Sapphire Gin, East Imperial Yuzu Tonic and smoked cinnamon bitters.
A monthly Rooftop Dining Series is in the works that will highlight local chefs and culinary concepts along with thematic cocktail carts (an oyster shucking station is slated to kick off the concept).
But it’s the ambiance that makes this place extra special, says hospitality veteran Alan Roth, one of the venture’s collaborators.
“The Nest was created for Miami, offering a place that makes locals feel like they are cocktailing in their own backyard. On any given night, The Nest will offer an element of surprise, including entertainment, music or even a server on roller skates handing out shots. You’ll never know what spontaneous activities are happening at The Nest until you see it for yourself.”
The Nest is located at The Lincoln Eatery, 723 N. Lincoln Lane, Miami Beach. For more information, call 305-695-8700 or visit thelincolneatery.com.
