It’s that time again: The South Beach Wine & Food Festival is back for the 19th year.
The Feb. 19-23 festivities include more than 100 (!) events in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties with everything from wine seminars and classes to dinners featuring world-renowned chefs and winemakers.
The event’s motto, “Eat. Drink. Educate,” resonates with attendees – they savor delicious food and drink and feel good knowing that 100 percent of the net proceeds benefit the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at Florida International University. This is no chump change: The festival has raised more than $30 million for the organization.
Among the events in Miami Beach: the Southern Kitchen Brunch with Trisha Yearwood (Feb. 23) and the Goya Foods Grand Tasting Village (Feb. 23).
Want to stay closer to home? Head to Fort Lauderdale for the Drag Brunch hosted by Carson Kressley (Feb. 23), the Sandwich Showdown with Jeff Mauro (Feb. 22), brunch hosted by Kathie Lee and Geoffrey Zakarian (Feb. 23) and more.
Palm Beach has its share of events, too, including the dinner hosted by Chef Mauro Colagreco at Florie’s at the Four Seasons (Feb. 21) and dinner with the ultimate lifestyle guru Martha Stewart. She’ll be hosting alongside Chef Katie Button and Chef Clay Conley at Buccan Palm Beach (Feb. 20).
Bon appétit!
The festival will take place in various venues in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. For more information, call 877-762-3933 or visit sobewff.org.
