The next time you want to take in dinner and a show, Teatro is the place to go. The newly opened and aptly named restaurant is located at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Miami.
The 2,500-square-foot dining room is on the second floor of the Arsht Center’s Ziff Ballet Opera House and serves a New American menu with creative European and Latin influences from Executive Chef Jose Danger of Constellation Culinary Group.
There is a prix-fixe menu which includes a choice of one appetizer and entrée or one entrée and dessert, along with sides and à la carte menu. Appetizer options include Red Carpet Carpaccio, that Coconut Curry Mussels, Smoked Salmon Dip and Steak Tartare.
Entrees include Butternut Squash Chiochiole, (roasted butternut squash with feta and pepitas), Cioppino (fisherman’s stew), Carbonara Risotto, Pan-seared Salmon and Steak and Potatoes, among others. Sides can be ordered à la carte. These include Pile High Fries with herb, truffle aioli; Crispy Loaded Potato, topped with crème fraîche, aged cheddar, caviar, chives and crispy speck; and Shrimp Scampi: jumbo shrimp in a white wine garlic sauce. Key lime meringue tart and assorted sorbet and ice cream.
Signature cocktails, wine, beer and a variety of sodas and juices also are on the menu.
