Walking into Pink Steak you immediately recognize that “pink” doesn’t necessarily refer to the way the steaks are cooked, but rather to the eatery’s decor.
Restaurateur/chef Julien Gremaud has brought Miami to West Palm Beach’s Dixie Corridor with paintings of pink flamingos in suits and ties, tropical wallpaper, a 15-foot brass flamingo statue and pink chandeliers in the dining room. It’s anything but your traditional stodgy steakhouse.
Pink Steak is Gremaud’s third culinary concept. He also owns and operates Avocado Grill and Avocado Cantina — both also in Palm Beach County.
Starters include a selection of caviars and seafood towers as well as a variety of salads. There’s a selection of Japanese-style rolls and hot appetizers including Coconut Lobster Bisque, Burgundy Escargot and Crispy Rock Shrimp.
Pink Steak has an extensive menu with a variety of cuts that include filet mignon and prime ribeye to a tomahawk wagyu. If beef isn’t your thing, there are alternatives, even for vegetarian palates. Take the Vegetable Wellington, for example, which is made with roasted squash, spinach, finely chopped mushrooms and fresh herb sauce. Miso Glazed Salmon and Maine Lobster Risotto are also tempting options for seafood lovers.
Eat inside or dine al fresco on the patio. Gremaud, whose pastime is DJing, added a DJ booth inside the open-style kitchen.
Pink Steak is located at 2777 S. Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach. For more information, visit pinksteak.com.
