There’s a new place to enjoy a very special wine and dine experience — and it’s in Boca Raton. Head for the newly opened Sixty Vines at the Shops at Boca Center for something different.
“Sixty Vines invites guests to experience abundance in true wine country fashion with plates perfect for sharing like charcuterie boards, seasonal proteins, pizzas, pastas and more. Guests can expect the freshest ingredients, many sourced locally, in the seasonally inspired menu that pairs beautifully with wine,” notes a press release.
Known for its wine-on-tap program, the venue offers wine by the flight, glass or reusable bottle. Sustainability is high on the list here.
“Each keg contains about 26 bottles of wine and will be reused to hold around 1,500 bottles in its life. The process ensures optimal taste by eliminating oxygen and maintaining proper temperatures; how it is served dramatically reduces the carbon footprint. Sixty Vines estimates it will save more than 50,000 bottles and corks from landfills in its first year of operation in Boca Raton,” a press release explains.
The 9,000-square-foot restaurant offers indoor and outdoor dining as well as three private dining areas, a wine garden patio and full bar. This is the restaurant’s sixth location — and its first in South Florida.
“Serving wine on tap allows guests to enjoy the closest ‘from the barrel’ experience possible outside of the vineyard – just as the winemaker intended,” CEO Jeff Carcara noted in a press release. “We can’t wait to share our ‘pinkies down’ wine experience with Boca Raton.”
