Social Impact Leadership Organization (SILO)
Studies show that more and more consumers today vote with their dollars – choosing to support companies doing some kind of social good. Business leaders in the social impact movement will address this concept at Lynn University’s first social impact forum, Business for Good, on March 25 at 10 a.m. in Boca Raton.
“The conference brings together industry leaders and professionals to discuss profitable solutions to the world’s greatest challenges,” according to a press release. “Attendees will also preview the Christine E. Lynn University Center’s third floor collaborative workspaces and experience the Social Impact Lab and Watson Institute at Lynn University.”
Speakers include Paul Rice, CEO of Fair Trade USA; Melissa Medina, president of eMerge Americas; and more than 30 other panelists. Topics will include impact investing, educating for impact and business for good.
Other highlights of the free event include breakout sessions by Venture Café Miami and a special performance by Emmy-nominated singer-songwriter Alexander Star.
