The weather is cooling down and we’re all ready for some outdoor fun — and Boca Raton has plenty of activities to fill your calendar.
We begin with the 50th Annual Holiday Street Parade at
7:30 p.m. Dec. 8. Grab a spot on the route — which begins at Federal Highway and S.E. 5th St. and travels north to the Mizner Park Amphiteater. Experience more than 50 colorful floats and groups that will put on a show geared to the theme “What Are You Streaming?”
Talk about music to your ears: FAU’s Tuba Christmas will take the stage at 5 p.m. Dec. 12 at the Mizner Park Amphitheater. The sixth annual free concert — one of many presented in 250 cities in the world — features holiday music via tubas and euphoniums.
The festivities continue with the 47th Annual Holiday Boat Parade at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 18. The waterways — beginning at the C-15 Canal and going south — will be ablaze with colorful lights and decorations. Bleacher viewing will be available at Red Reef Park.
The boats will be competing for $10,000 in cash and prizes.
