They say that a Paul McCartney show is nothing short of life-changing.
Fans will get a chance to test that theory when the former Beatle brings his talent to Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood May 25 at 8 p.m.
“I said at the end of the last tour that I’d see you next time. I said I was going to get back to you. Well, I got back,” McCartney writes on his website.
The tour is his first since his “Freshen Up” gigs ended in July 2019 after a 12-country journey.
“With songs like ‘Hey Jude’, ‘Live and Let Die’, ‘Band on the Run’, ‘Let It Be’ and so many more, the Paul McCartney live experience is everything any music lover could ever want from a rock show: hours of the greatest moments from the last 60 years of music — dozens of songs from McCartney’s solo, Wings and of course Beatles catalogs that have formed the soundtracks of our lives,” notes his website.
They’ll be plenty of toe-tapping, dance-in-your-seat music but don’t expect to get an autograph from him — he no longer pens his name for fans.
“It always struck me as a bit strange,” he explained in a Reader’s Digest interview. “‘Here, can I write your name down on the back of this till receipt please?’ Why? We both know who I am.”
