Blue Man Group puts a new twist on the silence is golden adage. The members — who don blue faces — never speak during a show but manage to make plenty of noise.
Want to see how they have captivated more than 35 million people around the world? Head for the Arsht Center in Miami for one of their performances June 29-July 3.
“It’s everything you know and love about Blue Man Group: signature drumming, colorful moments of creativity and quirky comedy. The men are still blue, but the rest is all new,” notes the venue’s website. “Featuring pulsing, original music, custom-made instruments, surprise audience interactions and hilarious absurdity, the Blue Men’s show is a joyful experience that unites audiences of all ages.”
The Blue Man Group website adds, “Performances are euphoric celebrations of human connection through art, music, comedy and non-verbal communication. Since the Blue Men don’t speak, the group transcends language barriers and is universally appealing to a broad range of age groups and cultural backgrounds. Each performance of Blue Man Group is unique and audiences never experience the same show twice.”
