Start off the new year with an outdoor extravaganza of creative artwork.
Head for the 33rd Annual Las Olas Art Fair, a socially-distanced, outdoor art gallery brimming with imaginative works created by more than 300 artists from 40 states.
The free event, scheduled for Jan. 9-10 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Fort Lauderdale’s Las Olas Boulevard, is also pet-friendly.

What can you expect to see? “Sculpture, jewelry, woodwork, paintings, wearable art and more will be displayed, gallery-style,” notes a press release about the event. “Considered an annual tradition in South Florida, the Las Olas Art Fair also offers the opportunity to meet with the artists, ask about techniques, commission a specific piece and discover the inspiration behind each magnificent creation.”
Local and national hand-selected artists will be at the juried event.
Also at the event: the unveiling of this year’s winning commemorative poster.
Can’t make it? Part II of the art fair is scheduled for March 5-6.
