Mission: The Boca Raton Museum of Art (BRMA) is dedicated to the education, increased enjoyment, and cultural enrichment of the public through its collections, exhibitions, and programs. The Museum and its Art School celebrate cultural, artistic, and intellectual diversity and reflect Boca Raton’s commitment to art and education.
Organization History: For seventy years, the Boca Raton Museum of Art has – uniquely amongst South Florida museums – operated an Art School.
The Museum and its Art School create unique pathways where people make personal connections with art.
Every year at the Museum in Mizner Park, over 100,000 visitors experience exceptional works of art—in a variety of media, from diverse cultures, and across centuries.
We steward collections of 4,400 objects and each season, organize and present 8 to 10 exhibitions and 250 educational programs for diverse audiences of all ages.
Every year at the Museum’s Art School, over 5,000 children and adults discover and grow their talent through quality art instruction with over 100 classes and workshops offered weekly.
Together, the Museum and its Art School form an expanded creative campus with the shared goal of integrating art into the lives of people through both looking at and making of art.
