JELF provides interest-free, financial aid loans for Jewish students in need from FL, GA, NC, SC, and VA (excluding metro DC).

The cost of higher education has grown at 8 times the rate of inflation. According to the Federal Reserve, 90% of students now need financial aid to cover the costs associated with higher education. It is more critical than ever to helping local Jewish students in need.

JELF has maintained an astounding 99% repayment rate for more than a decade. This means that donations will live in perpetuity - as loans are paid back, these dollars are "recycled" to help more students going forward.
