Born and raised in Miami, Dr. Hirsh graduated Phi Beta Kappa with his Bachelor of Science degree and his medical degree from the University of Florida. After an internship at Northwestern University in Chicago, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami. He served on the faculty for one year as chief resident before completing his subspecialty training in rheumatology at the University of Miami.
Dr. Hirsh is individually certified in musculoskeletal ultrasound by the only two national credentialing bodies: the American College of Rheumatology and the Alliance for Physician Certification and Advancement.
