Since 1969, the South Florida Wildlife Center has been dedicated to rescuing, treating, and rehabilitating thousands of injured and orphaned wild animals across the tri-county area. As the busiest wildlife hospital in Florida, we admit between 10,000 and 12,000 animals annually. Our mission is to provide expert care for South Florida’s wildlife, facilitate their successful release back into the wild, and educate the community on wildlife conservation and peaceful coexistence with our native species.
