Addison Reserve Country Club in Delray Beach is bringing its golf experience to a new level. Phase One of their golf renovation began in May, which included renovating one of their three championship golf courses, Trepidation, and practice facilities. Renowned golf architect Rees Jones and his team worked with golf professionals on the project. Practice facilities opened November 1. Trepidation will open in mid-December with an enhanced irrigation system, improved bunkers and greens.
Phase Two of the renovation on the remaining two championship courses, Redemption and Salvation, commences in spring 2024.
“We’re thrilled to work with Rees and his team,” says Denise Saari, Membership/Marketing/Communication Manager. “They’ve done a great job with innovative designs that incorporate course challenges for players of all levels to enjoy.”
Addison boasts a 70,000-square-foot clubhouse featuring the stYr lounge and terrace with indoor and outdoor bar and table seating. The clubhouse also includes the main dining room Taste, two private dining rooms, and an exclusive wine room, the Vault. This season’s opening party will have a Monte Carlo theme.
A 40,000-square-foot lifestyle complex houses a free-form pool with two dedicated lap lanes and beach entry and a casual dining restaurant. Enjoy waterfalls, a children’s activity and aquatic area, fire pits and green space.
The 15,500-square foot, two-story fitness center boasts a state-of-the-art free weight area, cycling and aerobics studios. (They’re the No. 1 ranked fitness center in country clubs by Club + Resort Business). Licensed personal trainers, certified physical therapists and a nutritionist are available. The community has four parks that house a playground, soccer field, outdoor fitness equipment, and dog park.
Pickleball enthusiasts can take advantage of the new courts. They’re upgrading from four to eight courts by the end of December that are lit for night play. And they’ll now have nine lighted tennis courts. Other court offerings include a full basketball court and two bocce courts.
Addison just moved up from No. 25 to No. 23 ranking of Platinum Clubs of the World. They’re rated as a No. 5 golf and country club in the United States.
