Established in Fort Lauderdale in June 2012 by co-owner Rick Mijares, AmSo is on the brink of unveiling its sixth location in beautiful Delray Beach.
Mijares, an ardent advocate of hospitality, seamlessly intertwines his passion for networking, crafting memorable experiences and a deep love for food to define the essence of AmSo. His journey embarked in 2010 with a meticulously crafted business plan, endorsed by his parents, Tony and Laurie Mijares, who became co-founders and managing partners.
Despite initial challenges and a trial-by-fire experience, AmSo has thrived. Mijares’ unwavering dedication has yielded success, resulting in five flourishing locations in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Tampa, Orlando and Boca Raton.
AmSo’s triumph goes beyond its expanding customer base, evident in a noteworthy collection of accolades. Over the last five years, the establishment has earned numerous awards, including recognition as the “Best Late Night Waterfront Spot for Cocktails” by Tampa Bay Metro and the esteemed “Very Best Burger Award” at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival.
