Beck Law, P.A., founded by Joshua Beck, represents insurance carriers throughout the State of Florida. They handle insurance coverage disputes involving homeowners, commercial property and general liability insurance. Beck specializes in complex and difficult coverage issues including first-party property disputes, catastrophic injuries, construction defects, class actions and appeals.
When Beck opened the firm in January 2018, he was the sole attorney. The practice has since grown to 12 attorneys plus support staff. While the firm has grown, it has maintained its personalized approach. “We’re always available,” says Beck. “It’s something the whole firm and I pride ourselves on. We’re there for our clients whenever they need us, 24/7. Most importantly, we’re able to give matters the individual attention they deserve.”
The insurance industry and insurance law has rapidly been changing over the past few years. “It is important that we are constantly up to date on the most recent case law and trends in order to best assist our clients.” This hard work has led to the firm earning numerous successful results and appeals.
Originally from Long Island, Beck grew up in Palm Beach Gardens. Beck earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida State University and got his Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center. He has been practicing law since 2007. Prior to starting the firm, Beck was a partner at an insurance defense firm in Plantation, Florida, specializing in insurance coverage disputes. “I enjoy problem solving and client interaction,” he says. “I love doing legal research and collaborating with attorneys in the office. One of the best parts of my job is watching the firm’s attorneys grow and share the same passion I do about the law.”
He currently lives in Boca Raton with his wife and twins, a son and daughter in second grade. In addition to coaching his children’s flag football and basketball teams, he’s been on the board of directors of FAIR (Federal Association for Insurance Reform) for three years.
