Savor Every Bite – Morning Or Night – At This Beloved Eatery
Caffe Luna Rosa, the beloved Italian restaurant that consistently wins the title of best restaurant in Delray Beach, has become a hot spot for brunch with a playful melding of cuisines. Think Crab and Eggs Benedict, Cannoli-Cream Belgian Waffle and an antipasto-inspired Bloody Mary.
Located directly across the street from the Atlantic Ocean, diners at the open-air café can gaze at the waves while enjoying a leisurely meal. There are 10 different eggs Benedict options on the menu, all with house-made hollandaise sauce; customizable omelets, with the option to add ham, fire-roasted red peppers or gorgonzola cheese; and the restaurant’s staple pasta dishes.
The best part? Brunch at Caffe Luna Rosa is affordable: Most entrées are priced around $15.
The leisurely morning meal is a welcome addition to the famed Caffé Luna Rosa, where diners flock for Italian comfort food. Pasta is made in-house with a special pasta machine built specifically for the restaurant by chef and co-owner Ernie DeBlasi.

As a nod to its location along the water on South Ocean Boulevard, the dinner menu has a number of specialty Italian-inspired seafood dishes. A favorite is Pasta Scamponi: delicate pasta topped with two 8-inch-long shrimp, stuffed with crabmeat. There’s also Lump Crab Cakes in lobster sauce and Linguini with Clams.

Caffe Luna Rosa has more than 2,000 “excellent” reviews on Trip Advisor, has been rated the No. 1 destination in the area and is on the Wine Spectator list for its wine selection.
“We have a very large regular customer base, and we also change menus based on what’s trending,” says co-owner and office manager Bonnie Beer. “I love it here because of our customers and our great staff. At Caffe Luna Rosa, we have people who have been here since our founding in 1993.”
Beer says that all five owners, who took over the restaurant in 2010, had previously worked at the close-knit restaurant and are like family.
Caffe Luna Rosa gives back to the community via charity events and fundraisers as well as by donating gift cards to worthy causes.
“We all have a passion – we love what we do,” Beer says.
