For Durée & Company President and CEO Durée Ross, 2023 wrapped up on a high note. After all, the company was recognized as the Best of Fort Lauderdale’s “Top PR Agency” for 2023 and Ross was named “PR Person of the Year” by PRNEWS, among other accolades. While she is quite proud of these recognitions for her and her team, Ross isn’t coasting into 2024 on these accolades.
Instead, Ross continues to look for ways to strategically grow and expand her company’s services, for both existing and new clients.
“We’re always looking at new resources, new opportunities and new technologies to help our clients,” she says. “We work on the PR, marketing, social media, branding and special events, and we cut through the clutter to help tell our clients’ stories while also generating the awareness they deserve.”
With offices in Fort Lauderdale and Aspen, Colo., her client base of local, national and international companies come from a variety of industries including marine, real estate, legal, nonprofit, hospitality, health and wellness, business, lifestyle, and such emerging industries as cannabis and psychedelics.
“We’re carefully and strategically aligning with the right type of clients, making sure that we’re like-minded and we can help them move the needle,” Ross says. “We make sure we can work together as a solid team to do great things that help their businesses.”
To make that happen, Ross relies on her team to create messaging and branding that help their clients.
“We work hard as a team using a collaborative approach,” she says. “There’s no way we could secure the results that we do without it being a group effort.”
Even after 24 years in business, Ross never tires of the challenge her work brings.
“We have so many different specialty areas that it keeps it fun and exciting,” she says. “No two days are like, and it’s definitely never boring.”
