Dr. Jennifer Foster
Internist and Primary Care Physician
Dr. Jennifer Foster is an accomplished internist and primary care physician, board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Until recently, she practiced at the renowned Cleveland Clinic Florida.
When asked why she joined the FAU Medicine primary care practice, Dr. Foster expressed that she “wanted to be a part of a new, rapidly growing practice that provides exceptional care without requiring patients to pay concierge prices. I love forming relationships with my patients and helping them optimize their health over the years.”
Dr. Foster is also a faculty member at the Schmidt College of Medicine and FAU’s Internal Medicine residency program and has been awarded numerous teaching awards.
By teaching our next generation of physicians as part of a team of university faculty at FAU Medicine she remains current on clinical innovations and encourages students and residents to “never stop seeking knowledge and opportunity. There’s always something to learn about your field, from your peers, or yourself.”
Dr. Foster keenly advocates for women’s health, including screening exams and disease prevention. “Women do it all - work, care for families, and partners. But, we also need to care for ourselves! Taking time to get your annual physical and any blood or screening tests can go a long way, for both your physical and mental health.”
FAU Medicine offers on-site diagnostic services, including full laboratory, EKG, and vaccinations. Services include adult preventive care, routine check-ups, management of acute and chronic health problems, and geriatric consultations. With a recent launch of the Marcus Institute for Integrative Health, FAU Medicine occupies the Galen Medical Building’s entire 4th floor. Together, FAU Medicine’s Primary Care practice and Marcus Institute of Integrative Health provide complete health under one roof.
