The Florida Center for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (FLOCOMS) is proud to announce the opening of its state-of-the-art office in Boca Raton and Alfredo E. Tendler, D.M.D., M.S., is excited to introduce Jordan H. Shapiro, D.M.D., and Michael J. Theiss, D.D.S., as part of the FLOCOMS team.
“We now comprise a group of three top board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeons who are dedicated to using our skills and high-level training to serve our patients and community,” explains Dr. Tendler. “I’m proud of the team we have assembled, including the surgeons and our surgical team, as well as the high patient satisfaction and excellent surgical outcomes we achieve.”
The practitioners provide a full scope of oral surgery services, from common oral surgeries such as tooth extractions, wisdom teeth removal and dental implants, to more advanced surgeries, including complex bone grafting, full arch dental implant restorations, corrective jaw surgeries, facial trauma and TMJ surgeries.
Dr. Jordan Shapiro is a local graduate of Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School and the University of Central Florida. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University. Dr. Shapiro completed his surgical training at Boston University Medical Center in Boston, Mass.
Dr. Michael Theiss, a native of North Woodmere, N.Y., graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. He completed his surgical training at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond, Va.
All are now on staff at Delray Medical Center performing facial trauma surgery and Memorial Healthcare for elective major reconstructive surgery.
