Ana Nassar, a senior designer at Interiors By Brown in Boca Raton, feels that no two homes should be the same. When a client shows her inspirational photos for their home, she does not create something exactly the same as what they show her. She takes their inspiration and uses her own experience and expertise to customize their inspiration in a way that best suits her clients “I try to follow what they show me but explain what would work better in their house,” says Nassar.
Interiors By Brown is a full-service interior design firm for residential, hospitality and commercial design. Their 10,000-square-foot showroom features resources and interactive kiosk technology to enhance the client experience. Nassar has been with Interiors By Brown since 2019. She is currently the only residential designer at the firm fluent in both Spanish and English. Originally from Venezuela, she worked as a civil engineer for more than 15 years before she decided to pursue an interior design degree. She designs contemporary and traditional living spaces with a Latin-inspired spirit.
Nassar, who lives in Parkland with her husband and two sons, is known for her crisp and timeless style. She specializes in every phase of remodeling and reconstruction. Clients choose Nassar for her creativity as well as her ability to problem-solve function and flow to give them exactly what they need for their lifestyle.
She feels that connecting with a client leads to a successful project. She learns the client’s style and desires in order to give each project its own identity.
“I want to understand how clients see their dream house,” she says. “Then we can put together what I think will work in the house. Sometimes a client needs to see what I can offer to help them get their dream house with a Latin punch.”
Her favorite part of her job is understanding her clients’ dreams and making them a reality. “I love it when I witness the surprise on their face when they see the result.”
