Dr. Espinel sees patients in the office and hospital and oversees patients’ rehabilitation needs in skilled nursing facilities. “I enjoy helping people, getting that satisfaction of making a difference in their life and them saying ‘You saved my life,’” says Dr. Espinel.
Dr. Espinel offers every patient personalized care. He ensures that patients are supported across every stage of their health journey by following up with them. “Many people who come to the office from another doctor say they weren’t listened to or were rushed,” he says. “Or that the doctor was nice, but the staff never called them back. Dr. Espinel hails from Cuba, where he was a general surgeon. He redid his medical education in the United States, earning his medical degree at Louisiana State University. He earned Resident of the Year during his second year of residency. He became chief resident during his final year of residency. He was a hospitalist in South Florida before opening his own practice.
