When Vinny Baratta set out to help keep people’s independence a priority, it’s no surprise he found his calling in the medical field. Coming from a family of physicians, with his father and four uncles all practicing together at the Baratta Medical Center in Long Island, N.Y., healthcare has always been part of his DNA. With over 40 years of experience in the medical industry, Vinny and his wife, Diane, have built the trusted and nationally recognized Mobility City brand on the same foundation of compassion, service and care that runs in their family.
“As we age, independence remains a priority, one we cling to with a tight grip. But sometimes we need a helping hand,” Diane says. “Unfortunately, there are people stuck in their house without a proper piece of equipment to help them get to the bathroom on their own or leave the house to get the mail. The right equipment provides a sense of independence they’ve never had before. It makes such a difference when they can do things for themselves.”
