Connor Lynch
Commercial Insurance Agent
Connor Lynch has dedicated his career to providing peace of mind to business owners, nonprofit organizations, condominium and Homeowners Associations and more, as a trusted insurance agent and CEO at Plastridge Insurance, a company celebrating 104 years serving the South Florida community.
Lynch — whose grandfather and father worked in the insurance industry — started his career at Plastridge Insurance in high school. He now leads the company as CEO and his brother, Brendan, also works in the business.
“I am very fortunate to be a part of and lead a company that has a very ingrained culture of honesty and integrity,” Lynch says. “Two employees have been here for over 50 years and we have incredible longevity across the team. We feel our endurance in the industry is a testament to our vision of honesty, consistency and exceptional relationships.”
Plastridge has agents licensed in 35 states for seamless multi-state services but remain focused on insurance in this area and they stay on top of legislation surrounding insurance rates to make sure every client is getting the best rate and service possible.
“Purchasing insurance is different than shopping anything else — you’re really shopping an agent, not just insurance companies. You want to find an agent that you trust, that you truly believe will be there when something happens and somebody that is truly going to show you all of the options available and discuss the pros and cons of each. We really believe in that level of transparency,” Lynch says. “In order make sure businesses have coverage for what they need, you have to learn about the business. I love talking to business owners and homeowners associations and building new relationships.”
As a community-driven insurance agency, Lynch is passionate about giving back to the community and employees at Plastridge volunteer for causes that are important to them and the community. The company has supported many nonprofit organizations in South Florida.
“We empower our outstanding team of employees to develop exceptional relationships and build community trust as well as goodwill,” Lynch says.
That extends to agents being available immediately following a disaster.
“If a storm hits at night, we’ve always opened the next morning,” Lynch said. “Everything is built so that we can be available for our clients.”
