“Using operators with a large fleet means we have more aircraft to choose from. This way, we have a larger presence in case we have issues with pilots, the weather or the planes,” Tuchman says. “Bigger fleets mean better peace of mind.”
However, Tuchman wants to keep the business at its current fleet size. “It helps us focus on our core customers. We don’t want to get too large where personal touch is lost. Keeping customers close to us is something we’ve done since we started.”
Tuchman fell in love with private luxury air travel when he flew privately with clients as an entrepreneur. He wants his clients to feel like they’re in a five-star hotel.
