For Jake Tuchman, President and CEO of Simplicity Jets, aviation and hospitality have always been deep passions of his. That is what led him to open his own private jet charter brokerage, Simplicity Jets, in 2017.
Tuchman saw the need to provide his vision of VIP support for corporate executives, high net worth individuals, high risk health patients and sports divisions.
“We have a keen eye for attention to detail and pride ourselves on getting anyone in the world at any time from point A to B,” Tuchman says. “From catering and ground transportation to aircraft flight following, to pilots and crew being briefed, we ensure it’s all buttoned up to give our clients the best experience when flying.”
Simplicity Jets has grown from one office in Boca Raton to five offices around the United States, including New Jersey, Southern California, New Orleans and their newest location in Houston, Texas. However, they aren’t limited to just those cities. There’s access to 8,000 airports and 60,000 aircraft worldwide.
Yet Tuchman says they still operate with a small business mindset.
“Even though I’m a founder and owner I realize if our clients can’t get a hold of me, we’re doing something wrong,” he says. “I want all of our clients to be able to pick up the phone at any time and know that we can fulfill whatever it is that they need. We pride ourselves on our Argus & Wyvern operator standards and the ability to have you wheels up in a matter of hours from that initial call.“
This culture of being fully accessible starts with Tuchman and trickles down to the entire team at Simplicity Jets.
“We want to grow without losing track of our relationships with clients and the white glove service that we continue to provide. If our clients need me or my team for anything, we will take care of it,” he says. “A priority is transparency. We know in the new era of business aviation a lot of things are ever so changing, so it’s our obligation to facilitate any challenges that may arise while having the solutions in place to support it.”
