Marc Wigder
Sustainable Real Estate Investment and Public Service
As the founder of the Greenhouse Property Company, which offers private sustainable offices and suites, Marc Wigder has achieved remarkable success. He is not only a recognized business innovator, but also an adjunct business law professor at FAU, long-time attorney and a member of Boca Raton’s City Council.
Now, Wigder is transitioning his focus to public service, in addition to all his other responsibilities.
“I’m running for re-election as a Boca Raton City Councilman to continue to fight for what is right,” he shares. “This past year, I was also elected chair of the Boca Raton Community Redevelopment Agency and to the Board of Directors of the Palm Beach County League of Cities — a board consisting of elected officials from all 39 cities in Palm Beach County.”
A cancer scare in 2022 inspired Wigder to redouble his efforts to give back to his community with fervor and gratitude.
“I feel drawn to invest time and effort to help others,” he continues. “I still teach Business Law at Florida Atlantic and own a small law practice, but don’t spend as much time anymore with my firm — but always make the time for my longtime clients.”
“I continue to lease space in the Greenhouse in Boca Raton, but am no longer the owner,” he explains.
“Our investments range from the West Coast of Florida, Fort Myers, Texas, Minnesota, New York and Connecticut, while we have recently repositioned our holdings in the North Carolina division,” Wigder adds. “I’m still a managing partner but now have regional managers who run the company.”
Whatever ventures Marc Wigder chooses to undertake, rest assured that he’ll dive in with both feet and all of his heart.
