Barry Siegel’s grandmother, Betty, didn’t have long-term care insurance. When she got sick, she was advised to spend her assets until she had nothing left. That experience profoundly affected Siegel, who now runs The Siegel Law Group in Boca Raton.
It became his mission to help others avoid those kinds of hardships. He learned how she could’ve protected her assets.

Siegel believes people should be able to age with dignity. Their needs should be met as they get older.
“They don’t want to be a financial burden and not have the pride of leaving something, even a token amount, to their kids,” he says.
