“Spine surgery is nothing like it was 20 years ago,” he says. “We do minimally invasive neck and back decompressions and even fusions in a surgery center with only 1-inch incisions and patients can actually go home the same day.”
He prefers to exhaust all nonsurgical treatment options first, however. He takes time with his patients, asks questions, conducts thorough examinations and educates them so that they can make the most informed decisions about their care. Dr. Norton and his staff treat every patient like a family member.
