South Floridians have a few more Asian-style restaurants to choose from thanks to hospitality veterans Tina Wang and Chef Jason Zheng.

The two took over management of Peking Duck House, a popular Pompano Beach landmark since 1985. The original owners sold the restaurant, which underwent a renovation and reopened under the South Florida-based Unisolo Restaurant Group brand.

Peking Duck House offers authentic Chinese cuisine that guests can mix and match with selections of noodles with a choice of tofu, chicken, pork, beef, vegetables and seafood. And of course, Peking Duck is on the menu, along with a variety of rice dishes.

“As we considered the acquisition of Peking Duck, we knew it was a beloved restaurant but we felt it needed a little refreshing. We want to stay true to Chinese flavors and classic dishes but add a twist to the menu with our unique brand of Asian flair,” Wang says.

In addition, Unisolo is adding two new locations of Saiko-i Sushi Lounge and Hibachi, which opened in Parkland in March and will open in Plantation in June. There is one in Boca Raton and all feature Japanese cuisine. The menu includes soups, salads, stir fry, hibachi and a wide range of sushi and sashimi offerings.

Peking Duck House is located at 1200 E. Atlantic Blvd., Pompano Beach. For more information, visit pekingduckhousepompano.com. Saiko-I Sushi Lounge and Hibachi is located at 5791 Coral Ridge Drive, Parkland. For more information, visit saikoiboca.com.
