Dr. Gupta is a board-certified Ophthalmologist and holds a subspecialty certificate in Cataract, Cornea and Refractive Surgery. She has performed thousands of advanced cataract surgeries and placed advanced technology lenses to provide patients with the ultimate glasses-free vision.

She has treated more than 40,000 patients with both complex and simple eye related concerns. She specializes in LASIK surgery, which enables patients to pursue career goals and participate in activities and sports without the need for glasses or contacts.

“Everyone deserves a chance to see the beautiful world,” says Dr. Gupta, who has a passion for Ophthalmology.

She established Advanced Eye Surgeons in 2018 in Boca Raton. Five years later, another location was added in Tamarac.

Joining the practice in 2022, Dr. Dayana Pereira, O.D., does routine exams, diabetes and glaucoma screenings and dry eye management.   

Advanced Eye Surgeons offers family eye exams (ages 12 and up), eye surgery, laser vision correction, advanced cataract surgery, corneal transplants, glaucoma surgery, advanced in office dry eye relief treatments, pterygium excision, diabetic screenings, glaucoma management and more — all using the latest state-of-art equipment.

“For me, all eye problems have to be addressed to perfection,” Dr. Gupta says. “It’s fascinating to see the quality of vision and life that can be achieved with independent vision.”

Dr. Gupta listens to her patients and understands their goals before formulating a tailor-made treatment plan. She believes in pursuing non-invasive medical treatment and proceeds with surgery only if necessary.

“It’s gratifying to see how happy patients are once their vision is improved and restored. Their confidence grows and their overall attitude changes significantly,” she says.

Dr. Gupta is a part of the Eye Physicians of Florida and a member of the Florida Society of Ophthalmology, American Society of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. She takes all insurances and has self-pay prices for those without insurance.

In her free time, Dr. Gupta spends time with her husband and two boys playing tennis, basketball and swimming.
