Alan J. Bauman, M.D., A.B.H.R.S., founder of Bauman Medical in Boca Raton, originally thought he would go into plastic surgery. A hair transplant patient he met during his residency changed that plan. “I was completely fooled that he’d had a hair transplant,” says Dr. Bauman, a full-time board-certified hair restoration physician. “It looked amazing and he was thrilled that he’d fooled a surgeon. The 12,000-square foot practice was founded in 1997 by Dr. Bauman. Recently, they added James Vogel, M.D., F.A.C.S., to their medical provider team. Dr. Vogel brings over 30 years of experience to the practice, having treated over 30,000 patients and performed over 5,000 hair transplants and hair restoration procedures.
