Benjamin Soffer, D.O. is a board-certified Internal Medicine practitioner who has taken the concept of healthcare accessibility to the next level with his innovative concierge medicine practice. Based in Boca Raton, Dr. Soffer provides white glove service to subscribers, offering patients round-the-clock availability, as well as in-home visits to his clients in Palm Beach County.

Formerly the medical director of the Hospitalist group at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Dr. Soffer remains involved and serves on the hospital’s executive committee and as chairman of the department of Internal Medicine. However, one year ago, he decided that he wanted to practice a more personalized type of medicine and forge closer relationships with his patients. By limiting his patient panel, he can offer in-depth access and high-level care; even same day in-home appointments.

The home visit aspect is key — especially to patients who are housebound, have limited mobility, or other issues that make traveling to appointments challenging. It’s also appealing to professionals, parents and anyone that values privacy and prompt appointments that work around their busy schedules and lives.

Says Dr. Soffer, “After seeing patients in a traditional hospital setting, I realized I wanted to devote my career to a practice that is both preventative and wellness-based to help patients make healthy lifestyle choices. Being able to consult with my patients in the comfort of their own homes without the constraints of a busy office to contend with, allows me the quality time my patients deserve.”

Subscribers pay a monthly membership fee in lieu of insurance. Upon signing up, patients receive direct cell phone access to Dr. Soffer, who coordinates closely with other medical professionals, making referrals to a network of hand-picked specialists. Dr. Soffer values preventative medicine and holistic approaches to health and wellness and works with patients to develop a comprehensive strategy to improve their lives.
