Internal Medicine and Women’s Health

Caitlin Prickett, D.O., a board-certified internal medicine practitioner and primary care physician who has a special focus on women’s health, is changing the patient experience with her new practice Concierge Medicine of Boca Raton.

Concierge Medicine of Boca Raton is a highly-personalized boutique healthcare practice with 24/7 doctor access, same-day appointments and hour-long appointments with patients.

“With concierge medicine, my patient count is much less, which gives patients more time to discuss medical care,” Dr. Prickett says. “Patients deserve better access to their doctor; that was the number one issue I saw when working at a large medical group, which pushed me to open up a concierge practice.”

Dr. Prickett works with each patient on health screenings, preventative care, customized wellness plans and tracks health goals.

“I’m empowering patients to take control of their health,” Dr. Prickett says. “My average patient visit is one hour, as opposed to 15-20 minutes. We provide that in a relaxed welcoming environment.”

Patients pay a membership fee at Concierge Medicine of Boca Raton rather than file costly insurance paperwork. Membership also includes discounted lab work.

Enhanced access to the doctor means same day next day appointments as well as phone and telehealth consultations.

“You’re going to get a luxury VIP experience,” she says.

While she treats both men and women, Dr. Prickett has expertise in women’s health issues and offers pelvic exams, pap smears and cutting-edge treatment of symptoms of menopause. She also makes sure women are up to date on female cancer screenings.

“I believe women’s health often gets overlooked and my vision is to elevate the standard of care for women,” Dr. Prickett says. “I welcome all patients who are unsatisfied with their current medical care or who have challenging medical conditions. The most interesting part of internal medicine is that you are doing a lot of investigation—things that may have been missed, a test that wasn’t ordered or an image that wasn’t done that could solve health problems.”

“I enjoy the detective work of internal medicine,” she says. “Every patient brings something new and I love what I do.”
