Robert S. Bader, M.D. is an Ivy League-trained physician, board-certified in dermatology and fellowship trained in Mohs’ and dermatologic plastic surgery. His practice, RSB Dermatology, handles both medical, surgical and cosmetic procedures in a comfortable and relaxing office environment.

On the medical side, Dr. Bader says that 70% of skin cancer cases that he treats are found on routine skin screenings, which is why it’s important to have a regular relationship with a board-certified dermatologist.

“In Florida, we spend so much time in the sun, which is fairly strong here, that for most light-skinned persons, it’s important to get screened each year,” he says.

Dr. Bader is a fellowship trained Mohs’ surgeon, which is the most effective technique for treating basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma. He also performs reconstructive surgery following the removal of advanced skin cancers immediately after Mohs’, saving patients both time and money.

“What is most gratifying to me is the relationships that I have with my patients and having the opportunity to know them on a personal level,” he says.
