Community Day
The Museum’s Board, Members, and Staff welcome our entire community for a daylong celebration to kick off our 70th Anniversary Season. This family-friendly event highlights our fall exhibitions Maren Hassinger: Tree of Knowledge, inspired by Pearl City’s iconic banyan tree and created with the help of thousands of community participants; and Clifford Ross: Waves, featuring monumental photographs captured by the artist in raging surf during hurricanes. Activities include art-making, storytelling, musical performances by local students, and learning organized in conjunction with community organizations and environmental groups.
